GRS has reached an agreement with Amarenco Group to renew the contract for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the Las Naranjillas PV plant, located in Carmona (Seville). Grupo Gransolar’s construction company, responsible for the design, construction and commissioning of the plant, will thus extend its work until at least 2025.
The positive performance ratio and availability results obtained at the installations in the last two and a half years, since their commissioning and during the warranty period, have led to this new agreement with a key partner.
In this way, GRS will continue to monitor and carry out maintenance work to maximize the performance of the 50 MW plant, which produces enough energy to satisfy the electricity demand of nearly 14,000 households and avoids the emission of nearly 52,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
