MAY

In 2019 we reach a new record in CO2 emissions into the atmosphere with 37 billion tonnes. The world’s vegetation and oceans are only able to absorb half of the carbon dioxide we produce by burning fossil fuels, and continued deforestation exacerbates the problem year after year. The other half of the emissions remain in the atmosphere for more than a hundred years.

That is why incentives for renewable and clean energy sources are urgently needed now.

Dragonfly in a GRS PV plant Brazil

VISIT OF THE MONTH

We were finishing a day of maintenance of one of our PV plants when this dragonfly landed on one of the modules to take a break on its journey. It was a miracle to be able to take the picture, as the compound eyes of this insect allow it to perceive any movement around it. We are sure that the kindness of our colleagues in the field made the dragonfly feel at home.
