GRS has reached an agreement with Acciona Energía for the construction of the Fleming Solar Farm photovoltaic plant (235 MWp), located in the United States. This milestone marks the company’s reactivation in a market where it aims to consolidate its strategic presence over the coming years, bringing its capacity in the country to over 400 MWp across six completed and under-construction projects.
Fleming Solar Farm will be one of the largest photovoltaic plants in the state of Kentucky and one of GRS’s most significant projects worldwide, where it holds a portfolio of nearly 5 GW.
This project represents a prime example of synergies among Grupo Gransolar’s business units: GRS Engineering will be responsible for engineering works, while PV Hardware (PVH) will supply and install its next-generation AxoneDuo Infinity solar trackers to maximize performance.
GRS celebrates resuming its operations in the United States. “Fleming Solar Farm represents a major turning point in our strategy. In addition to its significant contribution to the energy transition, Fleming Solar Farm will deliver a notable economic boost to the region, creating nearly 300 jobs, according to Acciona Energía.
